• Low oil yield: for conventional oilseeds such as soybeans, peanuts and rapeseed, the oil yield of direct cold pressing by hydraulic oil press may be low. However, this can be improved by improving the pressing process or adopting pretreatment techniques.
• Large equipment investment: Compared to some other types of oil presses, hydraulic oil presses may have a higher price and require a larger equipment investment.
